Redchip is proud and inspired to be involved with CareFactor – Australia’s first aged care incubator program.


As our population ages, and quality control measures for the industry become more stringent, Australian aged care providers will need to think and act innovatively in order to remain viable and continue to provide the care and support that people in our community need. The CareFactor Aged Care Incubator Program provides a platform to develop and test unique solutions for solving key challenges facing the aged care industry.

CareFactor is an accelerated program of growth and learning for aged care startups, entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs. Participants will not only gain skills, resources and support, but also invaluable access to mentors, community and networks in aged care, investors and capital raising opportunities.

CareFactor is the brainchild of accounting firm Bentleys QLD and is supported by a host of notable sponsors including ACSA, Austrade, Westpac, Paynters, SprintVC, Advancer, OQCE and, of course, Redchip.

About the program

The CareFactor Incubator Program runs over 12 weeks from September to December. It includes a 3 Day Masterclass, an 8 Week Mentoring Course and a Pitch Day.

There will also be a 12-month regional program commencing in February 2020.

CareFactor Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Llew Jury

CareFactor has announced Llew Jury, Founder and Director of Advancer, as the program’s Entrepreneur-in-Residence.

Llew Jury is a leading digital innovator. As Founder and Chair of digital agency Reload with offices in Brisbane, London and Manila, he’s won numerous awards including the Brisbane Lord Mayor’s Young Business Person of the Year in 2012 and the Brisbane Business News Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Digital in 2014.

Llew is passionate about sharing his wealth of knowledge and helping other businesses succeed. To do this, he sits on the Brisbane Lord Mayor’s Creative Advisory Board, is a judge for the Lord Mayor’s Business Awards and regularly mentors throughout the startup ecosystem.

Drawing on his experience as an entrepreneur, as well as a seasoned startup adviser, Llew will provide mentorship to all CareFactor teams.
