Mandatory Commercial & Retail Tenancies Code: COVID-19 rent relief principles

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has today announced the new commercial and retail tenancy code which will apply to any these tenancies where the tenant is eligible for the JobKeeper program and where they have a turnover of $50 million or less.


The principles are not as straight forward as expected and will likely still require some negotiation in proving eligibility.
