Rebecca loves interacting with inventive businesses, and their owners. As a commercial and technology lawyer, she has a genuine curiosity about the way businesses operate and enjoys delving into new industries and business models with each unique client.
It’s this commercial appetite, along with her engaging and conscientious nature, that makes Rebecca a go-to team member for small to large businesses tackling new activity.
On the technical side, Rebecca regularly drafts and reviews sale contracts, agreements and other legal documents tailored to her clients’ business needs. But broader than that, she spends time connecting with her clients and understanding their objectives. She then works to identify gaps, reduce risk, and structure successful outcomes. Often this leads to conversations her clients had not initially considered, which is one of the most satisfying parts of her role.
Rebecca holds a Masters in Law, graduating with honours.
Although hailing from regional Queensland, Rebecca has a soft spot for the colder climates and outdoor adventures of Canada. Brought to the area by her love of snowboarding, she was fortunate enough to hike through the Canadian Rockies amidst the Covid-19 pandemic – gaining a rare experience of the landscape unpopulated by tourists.
